Weekend in the Garden Kingdom Dessau-Wörlitz
The Luisium and Mosigkau castles will be open to visitors from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the Whitsun weekend.
From 01 June, both castles will then be open again daily (except Mondays) if the level of infection remains low.
The following should be noted when visiting the castle:
- Tickets online securely at gartenreich.de.
- a visitor’s pass is kept (whether digital with LUCA app, Corona warning app or analog)
- the wearing of a protective medical mask, a minimum distance of 1.5 m, sufficient hand hygiene (hand disinfection) and the instructions of the staff are to be observed
As the 7-day incidence in the Wittenberg district remains above the critical mark of 100, Oranienbaum Castle as well as Wörlitz Castle, the Gothic House and Stein Island in Wörlitz Park must remain closed for the time being. Gondola and ferry services are also suspended until further notice.
Parks and gardens open
Regardless of the pandemic, all parks and gardens of the Garden Kingdom continue to invite visitors to take a walk. They present themselves in the most beautiful green, with countless blossoms and cheerful birdsong.
Also at this point we would like to ask you: Pay attention to the park rules during your visits and show consideration for each other. This includes keeping a safe distance of 1.5 to 2 meters when walking and wearing protective medical masks in the sanitary facilities.
